From June to November, southern right whales come into Walker Bay to calve, often just metres from the shore. We take the spectacular coastal road past Gordon’s Bay, stop at the Stony Point penguin colony, walk the Hermanus cliff path and finish with wine in the Hemel-en-Aarde valley.
